JacoMUN is the Annual Model United Nations Conference held by St. James’ School, Kolkata. From a humble beginning with the very first JacoMUN being held in our school premises in 2009 with just a mere four committees and now expanding all the way to 8 dynamic and fast-paced committees, JacoMUN has grown from strength to strength. The epitome of grandeur and scintillating debate, diplomacy and deliberation, JacoMUN has had the distinction of being one of the most revered conferences in the country.

At St. James’ School, Kolkata, we aim to surpass any existing boundaries and constantly re- define ourselves with any and every event, and JacoMUN has always edified this fierce spirit. This year, our Model United Nations Conference shall be hosted at the one of the most renowned and accredited hotels of the country, the Hotel Hindustan International, Kolkata.

The 8 committees to be simulated at the St. James’ School Model United Nations Conference this year cover complex geopolitical, socio-economic, military and legal issues that aim to challenge delegates at every juncture; be it in terms of crisis handling or paperwork. With each of these committees dealing with the past, present and the future, our objective is to revolutionize the art of MUN itself by bringing delegates to the forefront of some of the most consequential moments of history, where they will be putting themselves in the shoes of major world diplomats and deliberating upon issue of great preponderance.
